Red Bud Rotary Club Meeting Minutes January 8, 2008 Club
Members Attending: Pat Ramsey, Tina Stulce, Gil Phillippe, Steve Laur,
Marty Kinert, Tom Nihells, Cathy Dupertuis, Joe Tanner, Bob Honeycutt, Gene
Holmes, Brad Hall, Phil Weishaar, Tom Cowell, Pam Wineinger, Clarence Guebert,
Jim Walker, Dian Albert, Pam Kempfer Guests

Ramsey called the meeting to order at 12:20 p.m. Tina
Stulce said prayer. Secretary’s report was
distributed via e-mail and the minutes stood as written. The Treasurer’s report
was distributed. No questions were presented. The balance in the club account is
$3,738.71. Invoices for those members
who need to pay the second half of their dues will go out this week. Pat asked
that everyone pay dues promptly. Pat read a Christmas card
from the Dictionary Project thanking us for our involvement and mentioned some
fundraiser events that are being hosted by other Rotary Clubs in the area. She
encouraged people to attend if possible. There were no birthdays to
be celebrated. Pat recommended that a list is put together with that information
on it. The program format will be
changing effective next meeting. The 3rd Tuesday will be reserved for
a general business meeting so there will not be a program on those days. On the
4th Tuesday of every month the program will need to focus on a Rotary
topic. A new program schedule will be posted next week. Tom Nihells was presented
for membership by Jim Walker. Motion made by Cathy Dupertuis, seconded
by Tina Stulce to approve the membership for Tom Nihells. Motion carried. Tina Stulce introduced the
speakers for the day. Shea Haury and Joni Chandler from the Joni received her
Master’s Degree in social work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Joni
is the Director of the Day Services Program at the center. Shea received her
Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor. She is the Director of Counseling Services. Joni is responsible for the
following programs: Psychosocial Rehabilitative
Services Developmental Training
Services Mental Health Residential Residential Services Shea is responsible for the
following programs: Counseling Older Adult Services Alcohol/Substance Abuse
Services DUI Case Management Psychiatric Services Emergency Mental Health
Services Children First Kids in the Middle Divorce Mediation. Other details regarding the

disabled clients that participate at the center o

– from young to old A brief question and answer
session followed the presentation. With there being no further
