Quinta Scott is an author of: Along Route 66, University of Oklahoma Press 2000, The photographer/author of The Eads Bridge, University of Missouri Press, 1979 and the revised addition of 1999, a Route 66: The Highway and it's People, University of Oklahoma Press 1989.

She has received two Fellowships from the Nation Endowment for the Arts, the first to document the roadside architecture along U.S. Highway 66, the second to the architecture of mills and churches across the rural Midwest. She is currently working on a project she calls Mississippi Flyway; about the Mississippi River's wetlands and photographing the rock formation of the Missouri and Illinois Ozark Hills.
